This new successful restaurant chain, is opening, literally across the road from the Hotel. It’s sisters venues, are renown, for relaxed dining of Eastern Mezze platters. Their other two Papa Ganoush sites in Whitley Bay and on the river in Gateshead, are already flourishing. The new Jesmond site will just be open during the day initially and hopefully, evenings too. We can’t wait to support this new eatery!
This is a relatively new and fantastic smart, Italian Restaurant, also within a few minutes walk from the Rosebery. The Patricia has rave reviews and giving Peace and Loaf a run for its money. Sophisticated, yet simple, fine Italian dining. Great to see both these top quality eateries, within a stone’s throw from the Rosebery.
The Cook House
This is one of our definite firm favourites, in the whole of Newcastle. We have been supporting this superb eatery, from its onset for over 4 years now. When Anna, an ex Architect, converted two shipping containers into a bijou, the super stylish venue for lunch. She has been very successfully also running, Supper Clubs. Her food is absolutely delicious, specialising in regional fare and fabulous flavours. Anna has been so successful with The Cook House, she completed a Kickstarter earlier in the year and launching her new evening restaurant, December 11th 2018, in Foundry Lane, in the Ouseburn. Anna has been superb in initiating the wonderful Jesmond Food Market, which is held once a month, on Armstrong bridge, also 1 minute from the hotel.
The River Brew Company
This is a unique, eclectic independent Container community, with an array of superb eateries, bars, just beneath the iconic Tyne Bridge. Overlooking the River Tyne, this is a venue, not to be missed, when on a visit to Newcastle.
This is a first for the region and consists of independent small businesses Street food traders/Pop-Ups in the River Brew Company, and was developed with the Wylam Brewery to include Papa Ganoush, Brewery & Tap Room and Träkol.
There is also a Coffee House & Covert Cocktail Bar too. The Backyard Bikeshop which is a unique Custom Build Bike Shop, ideal, for those amongst us, who prefer to travel on 2 wheels and care about the environment.
